The DANSER project was showcased at the AGIT Conference for Geoinformatics, held from the 2nd to the 4th of July 2025 in Salzburg, Austria. Yana Nikolova, Hermann Klug, and Thomas Strasser from the Department of Geoinformatics  at PLUS delivered a 15-minute presentation titled “The DANSER Project: A Mission Towards Sediment Balance Restoration in the Danube Basin”.

In addition to the presentation, the DANSER project was featured at the PLUS conference booth, where attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with the team, ask questions, and learn more about the project’s mission. The DANSER roll-up displayed at the booth provided valuable insight into the project’s scope and objectives.

The event successfully raised awareness about the project, allowing the team to connect with research communities and national authorities, facilitating potential collaborations and gathering useful feedback for future development.
