From 20 to 22 March 2026, DANSER partner GEOSTUD took part in the 32nd National Symposium of Geography Students at the Faculty of Geography, University of Bucharest.

The event brought together students, researchers and academics to exchange knowledge on current environmental challenges and applied research. Through its participation as speaker and exhibitor, GEOSTUD shared practical experience from environmental and infrastructure projects and highlighted how multidisciplinary research can support real-world solutions.

DANSER was presented as part of GEOSTUD’s portfolio of European research and innovation projects, showcasing its contribution to environmental monitoring, ecosystem restoration and climate resilience.

The symposium also created an opportunity to engage directly with students and young professionals, promoting internships, practical training and career pathways in environmental sciences and engineering.

Participation in the event strengthened DANSER’s visibility within the academic community while helping connect the project with future researchers and professionals interested in applied environmental research and European innovation initiatives.
