On 5 November 2025, DANSER was represented at ECOMONDO 2025 in Rimini, Italy, during the workshop “Impacting Together: Promoting Cross-Fertilisation between Interreg and the Mission Ocean and Waters”, held as part of the Mediterranean Lighthouse Bootcamp.
Representatives of Adria Innovation Harbour (AIH) joined participants from Horizon Europe Mission projects, Interreg programmes, research organisations, public authorities and other stakeholders working on sustainable water management and ecosystem restoration.
The workshop focused on strengthening cooperation between Interreg and EU Mission Ocean and Waters initiatives, encouraging knowledge exchange and identifying opportunities for collaboration across European regions and programmes.
DANSER was showcased as an example of a Horizon Europe project contributing to sustainable sediment management, river ecosystem restoration and stakeholder engagement in the Danube River Basin. Its participation helped raise the project’s visibility within the wider European community working on aquatic ecosystem restoration and integrated water management.
The event also created opportunities to exchange good practices and explore potential synergies between initiatives in the Mediterranean and Danube regions, supporting stronger cross-programme cooperation towards the objectives of the EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters”.
