From December 10 to 12, the DANSER Consortium gathered at the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” in Ruse, Bulgaria, for the third General Assembly (GA) meeting.

The meeting kicked off with opening remarks followed by presentations from the various Work Packages teams. Hands-on workshops took place throughout the day, allowing participants to engage in discussions and collaborate on key project topics. Representatives from the European Commission and CINEA provided strategic insights into the project’s progress and future challenges. This set a productive tone for the days ahead.

On the second day, a recap of first day was followed by a series of workshops and presentations. Partners participated in group activities to exchange ideas and align on next steps across several work packages. The day focused on strengthening collaboration and refining plans for the project’s upcoming phases.

The third day concluded with a field trip to the Belene study case, conducted aboard the Fairway Marking Vessel OSAM. This visit allowed participants to connect the project’s theoretical work with on-the-ground conditions along the Danube. The trip also included a tour of the region’s natural park, providing a comprehensive view of the local context.

The meeting was a valuable opportunity for the consortium to review progress, align on future actions, and enhance collaboration.
