Hosted by the project coordinators Danube Delta National Institute for Research and Development, the Kick-off meeting of DANSER project took place in Bucharest, Romania on 28-30 January, 2025 and marked the beginning of an ambitious effort to tackle one of the Danube River Basin’s most pressing challenges – sediment management.
During the event, the project brought together experts from multiple disciplines to develop innovative solutions that restored sediment balance, improved water quality, and addressed the impacts of both climate change and human activities.
The Kick-off Meeting was an opportunity for partners to align on vision, strategies, and key milestones, ensuring a strong foundation for the work ahead.
