The DANSER project participated in the 14th International Symposium Kopački rit: Past, Present, Future, held on 25th and 26th September 2025 in Osijek, Croatia. The event gathered experts, researchers, and professionals from the field of nature conservation.

At the symposium, DANSER was represented through two insightful oral presentations and one poster presentation:

Oral Presentation: Preliminary Results of the Sedimentation Rate in the Area of Kopački rit Nature Park, presented by Ivica Pavičić, Željko Duić, Bojan Matoš, Ida Pavlin, Borna-Ivan Balaž, Lara Šembera, Jasna Orešković, and Saša Kolar (RGN team).

Oral Presentation: Alignment of the DANSER Project with EU Sediment Management Policies: Legal Framework and Challenges in the Danube Basin, presented by Doris Glibota, Igor Tadić, Antonija Barišić Lasović, and Nikola Bataković (HV team).

Poster Presentation: The DANSER Project and Biotic Monitoring in the Mid-Danube Pilot Sites in Croatia, presented by Siniša Ozimec, Ivana Majić, Tihomir Florijančić, Ankica Sarajlić, Dinko Jelkić, Anđelko Opačak, and others (FAZOS team).

The DANSER team reached approximately 150 participants, including researchers, national and regional authorities, environmental experts, and students. The feedback received was highly positive, emphasizing the importance and impact of the DANSER project in addressing sedimentation and environmental protection in the Danube Basin.
